La válvula de compuerta de cuña está diseñada para su instalación en tuberías como dispositivo de cierre en sistemas de suministro de agua y en la industria química.
La cuña conectada al husillo baja o sube dependiendo del sentido de giro del volante, cerrando o abriendo la sección transversal de paso del cuerpo de la válvula de compuerta.
Características especiales: dos filas de orificios que permiten instalar la válvula de compuerta mediante fijaciones adecuadas en tuberías con una presión de medio de trabajo de 10 o 16 bar; recubrimiento de polvo epoxi de 250 µm de espesor en el interior y el exterior del cuerpo.
Sostiene la válvula de compuerta mediante un recubrimiento de polvo epoxi.
