La válvula de guillotina DNOVA está diseñada para su instalación en tuberías como dispositivo de cierre y para regular el caudal del fluido en sistemas de suministro de agua y en la industria química. 1.3. El principio de funcionamiento de la válvula de guillotina consiste en mover la compuerta (de guillotina) perpendicularmente al caudal del fluido. Cuando el diámetro nominal de la tubería está completamente obstruido, se detiene el caudal, y si el caudal es parcial, se ajusta. La estanqueidad de la válvula de guillotina en estado cerrado se garantiza presionándola contra el sello bajo la presión del fluido.
