Description
High temperature pressure reducing regulator DNOVA PRA-S are designed to automatically maintain a given pressure of the working medium after the regulator (before the object of regulation) by changing the flow rate. They do not work in the absence of flow and in dead-end circuits. High temperature pressure reducing regulator DNOVA PRA-S is equipped with an impulse cooler (supplied with the regulator). The impulse cooler is installed between the pipeline and the membrane chamber, to which the impulse tube is connected. Before commissioning, the regulator cooler is filled with water from the side of the membrane chamber. The installation of an impulse cooler is necessary in order to prevent the high temperature coolant from affecting the membrane. The regulator valve is normally open when there is no signal (energy).
