The electropneumatic rotary positioner is used for controlling pneumatic rotary actuators by means of electric controller or control system with analogue DC output signal range from 4 to 20 mA. The function of the positioner is based on the balancing of forces. The positioner uses a nozzle-flap type device and a feedback servomechanism (spring and lever system) to balance the control and feedback forces when the pneumatic actuator (valve) reaches the position corresponding to the control signal.
