Description
The butterfly valve is designed to be used as a shut-off or control valve to control flows in heat supply systems, water supply, in technological processes in the food, chemical, oil and gas, pulp and paper and other industries. The valves are opened and closed by rotating the disk by 90°. The triple eccentricity design reduces friction at the contact points of the disk and seat, which increases the reliability and service life of this valve. With this design, the stem is offset relative to the central axis of the disk and the central axis of the pipeline, and the sealing surfaces have an asymmetric shape. The combination of three offsets at the moment of pressing and opening the sealing surfaces ensures a complete absence of friction of the sealing surfaces, helping to minimize wear of the seat and seal throughout the service life of the valve.
The DNOVA gearbox allows you to manually set the required positioning of the shut-off element by a quarter of a turn, acting as an alternative to pneumatic, electric or hydraulic quarter-turn actuators.
