Description
The wedge gate valve is designed for installation on a pipeline as a shut-off device in water supply systems and the chemical industry.
The wedge, connected to the spindle, is lowered or raised depending on the direction of rotation of the handwheel, closing or opening the flow section of the valve body.
The multi-turn electric drive DNOVA MT-N-xEM-O2-x-U1 five-cam is designed to automate the process of controlling industrial valves, as well as to determine the position of the shut-off element of the valve. The operating principle of the electric drive is to convert the electrical signal coming from the control device into rotational movement of the output shaft.
The electric drive consists of six main units:
- electric motor;
- a gearbox that transmits force from the electric motor to the output shaft;
- torque, stroke and adjustment control mechanism;
- mechanism for switching from electric to manual control (to switch from electric to manual control, you need to pull the switching lever);
- flywheel, used to open and close the valve when switching to manual control;
- electrical part.
