Check valve is a device in a pipeline that allows fluids or gases to flow in only one direction. When the pressure of the fluid or gas in the pipeline exceeds a certain value, the valve opens, allowing the substance to pass through. However, when the pressure drops or tries to move in the opposite direction, the valve closes, preventing backflow. Check valves are widely used in various industrial and commercial applications to ensure safety and control the flow in pipeline systems.
