Una válvula de retención de resorte está diseñada para evitar el flujo inverso del fluido de trabajo en la tubería. El flujo inverso se bloquea presionando el disco de la válvula contra su asiento bajo la acción del resorte y la presión del flujo inverso. La válvula se abre debido a la diferencia de presión del fluido en la dirección requerida, mientras el disco de la válvula se mueve y comprime el resorte.
