صمامات البوابة الشائكة هي نوع محدد من صمامات البوابة التي تُستخدم عادةً في الصناعات للتعامل مع المواد الصلبة الصعبة والمواد السائلة. سُميت بهذا الاسم بسبب شكلها، حيث تحتوي صمامات البوابة الشائكة على بوابة حادة تشبه السكين يمكنها قطع المواد اللزجة أو الصلبة في التدفق. تُستخدم عادةً في محطات معالجة مياه الصرف الصحي، ومصانع الورق، وعمليات التعدين، وصناعات المواد الغذائية، من بين أمور أخرى. وظيفتها الأساسية هي بدء أو إيقاف التدفق أو ضبط حجمه، لكنها لا تتحكم في الضغط أو معدل التدفق.
